Big problems
The app installed without a problem. Pressing and holding the attachment in a secure message and sending it to the app seemed to work. Used Touch ID to authenticate without problem. This is where the trouble started. The app said it wasnt authorized and it pushed me to a web-based interface. The web-based interface started to load the secure message and then just hung.
On a side note, in the past, his specific message was sent in a regular email. It is not an overly sensitive message. The decision to try to protect this specific message in this way is overkill. Making customers go through these extra steps, even if they did work, for just an informational message, is ridiculous. The sending company needs the rethink this.
