Worked for me just fine

On my iPad, no less! A little convoluted but if you follow their instructions you may have the good fortune I just did with a message from my Hospital.
Install, open, go back to email, hold finger on attachment then choose to open in the program. BadaBingBadaBoom! ObLaDiObLaDa!
